THE ONE tells the refreshingly funny yet sensitive story about Daniel, who couldn’t have it better: great parents, a successful career as an investment banker, and his beautiful fiancée, Jen. There is one temptation that may derail his best laid plans for the "straight-andnarrow:" he has a "thing" for Tommy, a former college classmate who is now openly gay. After a few drinks, Daniel succumbs to his repressed desires and has a one-night stand with his old college buddy.

The normally jaded Tommy is “head-over -heels “in love, but Daniel wants nothing more of him, or his dazzlingly seductive smile. With Tommy’s friends warning him against his involvement with a straight man and Daniel’s pledge of heterosexually, it would seem that nothing will come of them, but love and lust have a way of messing up even the best laid plans. Starring Jon Prescott (Howl, FX’s “Untitled Jersey City Project”), Ian Novick (Love and Other Drugs), Margaret Anne Florence (The Mighty Macs) and Michael Billy (PBS’ “In the Life”), THE ONE marks the exciting feature film debut of writer-director Caytha Jentis, who also produced with Aimee Denaro and actor Michael Billy. Jentis is currently in pre-production on her next film, Bad Parents. The film made its sold-out, world premiere at Frameline35: 2011 San Francisco International Lesbian and Gay film festival and will hit VOD/DVD on October 18, 2011.
